CheddarDogs is a locally owned and operated Calgary shop for natural dog treats and birthday cakes. We use local ingredients whenever possible and make cakes, treats, and birthday goodies with dogs at the heart of it all.
It started with Fez. When he had tummy trouble during treatment for meningitis, his family began making treats that were easier on his stomach. He will always be the original Cheddar Dog.

The dogs behind CheddarDogs have always been more than taste testers. They inspired the treats, kept quality control lively, and made this little Calgary business what it is today.
Maua
Our CEO, quality control lead, and chew inspector. Maua has never met a toy she could not put to the test.
Ragley

Our Director of Marketing and Cuddle Officer for more than 12 years. Ragley crossed the rainbow bridge in November 2024. We miss him every day.
Fez

The original Cheddar Dog. After treatment for meningitis upset his stomach, Fez’s family began making treats that were easier on him. He passed away in October 2012, but remains at the heart of CheddarDogs.
Floyd

A one-of-a-kind mix of energy and affection with a special love for bacon. Floyd inspired the Pink Floyd treat.
Ralphie
